Mirl Zijp

Meet Interior Designer Mirl Zijp. After completing her studies in Interior Design at HMC, Mirl continued her education at Akademie Artemis, where she specialized in Allround Styling. Through Studio Co van der Horst, where she worked for a year, she found her way to Molteni&C, a brand that had always inspired her. Since June 2022, she has been a proud and enthusiastic member of their team.

Mirl describes her interior style as calm and refined, with a preference for light colors, natural materials, and a harmonious balance of wood, marble, and linen. Her favorite brands are Molteni&C and Flexform. She appreciates Flexform for its use of pure materials such as wood and marble, while Molteni appeals to her because of the versatility of its collections, ranging from kitchens and wardrobes to complete furniture lines. If she could choose once piece from the showroom, it would undoubtedly be the Gliss Master wardrobe by Molteni&C, fully customized with a leather finish and integrated lighting, the perfect blend of luxury and personality.

Mirl draws most of her inspiration from international design fairs and leading designers. She is known for her patience and her ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients. Her ideal workday starts with a coffee and a chat with her colleague Sanne, after which she loves welcoming clients into the showroom to go through designs and materials together.
