Anke Kruikemeier

Anke Kruikemeier studied interior design at Nimeto in Utrecht. With over 18 years in the field—10 of them at Co van der Horst—she manages the sales teams at Co van der Horst and the Amsterdam Flagship Stores. Anke has a strong affinity with a Parisian elegance: a nonchalant je-ne-sais-quoi that is nevertheless carefully considered, with quiet tones and dreamy linen drapery. Her favorite brand is the Italian house Dedar, known for refined, high-quality materials such as wool, linen, silk, and alpaca—and for its commitment to sustainability. Dedar offers the most creative designs as well as beautifully usable solids for every interior and style.

A textured fabric-effect wallcovering by Arte is still on Anke’s wish list. She draws inspiration for her work from new in-store presentations, trade fairs in Paris, and social media—following not only inspiring designers like Sarah Sherman Samuel, but also a photographer (Agathe Tissier-Dumont), the founder of fashion label Sézane (Morgane Sézalory), and a Parisian real-estate firm (Maison Junot).
