Chantal Vermeulen

Chantal is manager at Studio Co and lives with her partner in a renovated 1970s home in Haarlem. After completing her Bachelor in Interior Design at the Jan des Bouvrie Academy, she interned at renowned studios such as Jan des Bouvrie and AG Architecten. She has now been with Studio Co for six years, where her style is defined by layering, clear sightlines, and the creative use of textures and materials. 

Among the collections at Co van der Horst, Chantal is especially drawn to Christoph Delcourt for its craftsmanship, refined simplicity, and luxurious appeal. She finds her inspiration in trips to Milan and Paris, nature and water during holidays, as well as in magazines like Architectural Digest, Elle Decoration, and Frame. Her ideal workday begins with a team meeting and coffee at the Studio, followed by designing inspiring concepts and ending the day with an organized inbox and a well-prepared agenda.
