The world-famous Italian design label Cassina was founded in 1927 by the brothers Cesare and Umberto. With a unique perspective on interiors and the placement of furniture in a space, they aspired to top quality and craftsmanship. Additionally, they had a very progressive vision and a longing for cultural dissemination and modernity. Cassina was one of the first Italian furniture manufacturers to trade traditional craftsmanship for mass production. Cassina also holds the production rights for numerous design icons, such as Le Corbusier.
The designs of international top designers like Philippe Starck, Piero Lissoni, and Patricia Urquiola are part of the impressive collection, as well as some Dutch Designs by Gerrit Rietveld.
