CC Tapis
"Born in France, designed in Milan, produced in Nepal". These are the hallmarks of the label cc tapis. Founder Fabrizio Cantoni grew up in Italy, where his parents ran a hotel. When he saw a Tibetan rug hanging in a shop window on Melrose Avenue during a stay with his wife in New York, he felt destined to launch a career as an interior designer. In the process, his father-in-law ran a shop selling rugs in Strasbourg, so he already developed a fascination for rugs over the years.
Cantoni taught himself to design high-profile patterns and designs amid the overwhelming nature of Nepal. Now, almost 20 years later, cc-tapis has a beautiful showroom in Milan, Cantoni's rugs are still authentically manufactured in Nepal and could just as well have been designed by top designers like Patricia Urquiola and Studiopepe.
During Co van der Horst's annual Home Couture events, cc tapis is invariably one of the topics, presenting their latest creations. But you can also come and see the special cc tapis collection in our showroom on an ongoing basis.
