Karin Sajo's creative journey began at a young age in her father's studio, who was a talented painter. She has always cherished her passion for color, which further developed during her extensive experience in the world of Haute Couture, particularly at Studio Dior and Jean Paul Gautier. Beautiful Collections that Tell a Story
One of her most striking creations is Casa Vicens, a lush embroidery resembling a flowerbed full of buds and colored petals. This design draws inspiration from the floral motifs on the ceramic walls of Casa Vicens in Barcelona, designed by Gaudi. The glaze effects are reproduced with a watercolor print that varies the background and highlights of the embroidery in density, enhancing and refining the colors of the matte and metallic threads in this intricate abstract pattern.
Another remarkable piece is Diffraction, a Jacquard fabric inspired by a Japanese maple tree. The design, almost psychedelic in nature with symmetrical waves, evokes the mesmerizing moiré effect.
