Blaine
Blaine is a table that brings together function and design vision, becoming both a cultural expression and a tangible translation of a clear, conscious creative thought. Its dynamic, sculptural silhouette arises from an eclectic fusion of influences, reinterpreting the legacy of the 20th century through a contemporary lens.
Modularity and configurations
The project draws from the heritage of Henry Moore, with his exploration of organic, carved and monumental forms, in which solids and voids interact in careful balance, and the architectural language of Oscar Niemeyer, rooted in a dialogue between mass and lightness, rigour and sensuality. Curves are not decorative solutions, but constructive elements that shape the composition, conveying a continuous formal tension and a deep connection with the surrounding space.
Materials and finishes
The base, cast in aluminium with either a polished or painted finish, is defined as a gently curved trestle, evoking a monumental presence that feels grounded while maintaining a sense of fluid movement. It represents the defining element of the piece: not only supporting the structure, but also interpreting and shaping the environment.
The top, available in wood or marble, completes the material narrative. Depending on size and geometry, the two bases trace a convex line, reinforcing a sense of structural equilibrium and domestic architecture. Blaine is more than a table: it is a creative synthesis that translates culture into physical expression, material and storytelling.
