The Studio Co team belongs to a select group of interior designers in the world who realize total projects. From interior design, aesthetic (construction) supervision, upholstery to furnishing and styling. What makes Studio Co unique?
With more than 250 high-end collections in-house, exclusive custom work is delivered at the highest international level. Together with the in-house partners of Co van der Horst, Studio Co realizes a complete interior from A to Z. Think of customized fire solutions, kitchens, bathrooms, tiles, parquet floors, image & sound, art and styling.
In addition to its own team of qualified furniture makers, upholsterers and decorators, Studio Co has an extensive network including a construction supervisor, renowned contractors, carpenters, plasterers, painters and gardeners. This allows them to deliver a turnkey project including cleaning, a stocked refrigerator and fresh flowers. During the process from design to delivery, the customer has one permanent contact person. In addition, the construction coordinator monitors the progress, the budget and the quality of the work.

Methods of Studio Co
1. Meeting conversation
During the first meeting, we will ask you various questions about your living requirements in order to get to know you better. It is of great importance to us to get a good picture of your (life) style and wishes in order to be able to integrate this into a personal design and thus increase your happiness through interior design. We would like to invite you to our design studio at Co van der Horst in Amstelveen, so you can see and experience our way of working, appearance and cooperation with our partners. Thanks to years of close cooperation with our exclusive partners, Studio Co is able to offer a total plan. Including kitchens, bathrooms, (parquet) floors, custom furniture, fire solutions, art and image & sound. We will then send you a personal proposal after a few days for the start of a beautiful and unique collaboration.
2. Intake interview
If our working method appeals to you and you agree with our price indication, we will invite you for an extensive intake interview. For this we ask you to provide all construction drawings, plans and photos of the rooms, so that we can get started with a personal and detailed interior design.
As Studio Co, we think it is important to get to know our customer well. What kind of lifestyle do you have, what is the composition in terms of residents, what is characteristic of them, what memories can we see in the interior? Think, for example, of distant travels or places in the world where you have lived, which memories do you wish to experience in this home? Based on this, the 'Program of Requirements' is compiled, in which we go deeper into your living wishes and requirements in combination with the various functions and spaces.
This also makes it possible to clearly map out the proposed project budget, time schedule and the cooperation with our construction supervisor. We will then give you a tour of our showroom of 10,000 square meters, in which we will see which furniture and styles appeal to you and we will walk directly past our partners so that you can get an impression of all the possibilities. It is our mission to create a surprising and unique design that can be easily implemented by all parties and fully meets all your wishes and requirements.
3. Design phase: sketching
We will make an appointment with you for a site visit to collect all other information. Think of viewing the incidence of light, recording certain measurements, viewing constructions, etc. We then present the 'sketch design' based on your housing requirements (PvE) in our Studio. We are guaranteed to stimulate your senses with a presentation that you can see, feel and experience through a live mood board (textile, color, material), exhibited on our stage.
4. Design phase: preliminary
The preliminary design will be further developed based on your feedback. The designs will retain their shape through the choices in materialization, colors and detailing. The lighting plan will have been given a basis and our construction supervisor will play an important role in this phase in forming the construction team with the internal and external partners.
5. Design phase: final
We will present the final design and lighting plan with any adjustments incorporated. Our offer is detailed and based on the entire interior design, together with our internal partners. Our construction supervisor will discuss his full budget and planning for the construction team with you during a separate appointment.
6. Realization phase
The final design is technically worked out so that all parties involved can make their contribution in detail. The construction supervisor will fine-tune the construction process with these parties and will realize the design.
During the implementation of the renovation, various construction meetings will take place under the supervision of your project manager, to ensure that everything runs smoothly. You only need to observe how your design is realized. In consultation we can record the renovation process for you.
When delivering, we do what we as Co van der Horst do best: arrange everything down to the last detail. This is the moment when the house becomes your home. Within the backdrop of the breathtaking end result and when you are completely satisfied, we will toast to this journey and you can enjoy your beautiful new home.
