City Life in Style: An Amsterdam Apartment full of Luxury

This high-quality apartment, spread over two floors in Amsterdam South, is furnished with great attention to detail with high-quality furniture from high-end Italian design brands. Egbert Visser, interior designer at Flexform Amsterdam, became involved after the owners came to Flexform to view the Romeo sofa they had in mind. The click between Egbert and the clients was so strong that this resulted in advice for the complete interior. The basis of the apartment was already perfect, but still lacked some warmth, personality and stylish color nuances.

The living room is flooded with daylight thanks to its height and large windows. Here the Flexform sofas were placed on a beautiful Mohair wool rug from Frankly Amsterdam and supplemented with two iconic leather Archibald armchairs from Poltrona Frau in a eucalyptus color. The Poltrona Frau coffee table and dining table, true jewels in the room, feature a unique type of marble with a gray hint and coral red veins. The Molteni&C Up cupboard, a design by Egbert, accentuates the height of the room and provides space for beautiful coffee table books, souvenirs and art. In the luxurious kitchen, the Archibald bar chairs from Poltrona Frau form a perfect match with the color of the natural stone countertop. The way in which all high-quality materials such as wood, natural stone, leather and fabric are combined in natural colors has been carried out down to the smallest detail.

The spacious landing has been optimally used. In front of the stained glass window is a Flexform Bretton chaise-longue, inviting for a moment of relaxation and placed on a Frankly Amsterdam rug specially designed by Egbert with varying pile heights of top-quality Mohair wool. On the other side of the landing, a workplace has been created with a Vitra office chair in coral red, which adds an interesting touch.

The upper floor also houses an elegantly furnished guest area, including a workplace from Poltrona Frau in high-quality leather on an olive-colored Mohair carpet from Frankly Amsterdam and dream bed Asolo from Flexform. The special lighting fixtures from Catellani & Smith add artistic accents.

The master bedroom on the ground floor, with direct access to the city garden, exudes the atmosphere of a luxurious hotel suite. Equipped with a bed and seat from Flexform, Frankly Amsterdam carpet and a custom-made Gliss Master cupboard from Molteni&C, which offers space for a workplace and a vanity.

In the spacious hall downstairs, a striking round Baxter mirror attracts attention and the wardrobe was equipped with a Flexform Timmy bench with a matching Oliver side table.
