A tailor-made interior with Japanese wellness

The team at in-house interior design Studio Co is one of the select group of interior designers in the world who realize total projects. From the interior design, aesthetic guidance, upholstery to the furnishings and styling. The interior designers at Studio Co do not start from one fixed design vision, but from each individual customer.

The interior of the house was designed by interior designers Chantal Vermeulen & Miryam Müller and was created in collaboration with the contractor company Schalkwijk B.V. and the partners of Co van der Horst. The entire home has undergone an energy transition to make the customer's living comfort as optimal as possible and future-proof. Centrally located in the living room is a corner sofa from the Italian supplier Flexform where the family comes together. A separate seating area has been created near the TV, where the CC-tapis carpet steals the show. The see-through fireplace connects the living room with the room where the dining table is located, with a beautiful view of the garden. A unique hand-knotted tapestry by Jan Kath hangs on the wall. The carefully designed lighting plan with technical lighting from Delta Light ensures that you have the right (mood) lighting at any time of the day, thanks to the combination with the Dali system.

In the hall, a wallpaper with an enlarged pattern from Wall & Deco was chosen on the wall and the Flamingo lamps from Vibia fit in perfectly with the style of this room. The top floor is almost entirely equipped with refined custom work, specially designed for this customer and executed by furniture maker Vonder. The master bedroom is unique in design, inspired by the customer's warm memories of Japan. The beautiful tiles were supplied via Intercodam, the wallpaper is by Mark Alexander and the bathroom ensuite was created in collaboration with Andor Cohenno from Intercodam. The link between interior and exterior is strongly palpable and provides a connection with every season. The children's rooms are also completely tailor-made by Vonder, with great attention to detail and the personal wishes of the youngest residents.
